Dragon Ball Super manga has been on break since Mr. Toriyama sensei passed away on March. While we still don’t know when the manga will officially returns we are getting a new One-shot story next year, on February 20, 2025.
The one-shot story appears to focus on Trunks and Goten as the main characters and is likely set during the Super Hero part of the series’ timeline.
Dragon Ball Super Manga New one-shot: Everything we know so far
Goten and Trunks have been mostly sidelined in Dragon Ball Super, often missing from battles and much of the story. A new one-shot offers a chance for the now-teenagers to step back into key roles and contribute meaningfully again. Fans might also get to see a teenage version of Gotenks for the first time.
The purple character in front is CLEAN GOD, the super hero that Goten and Trunks were fans of. This mini (one-shot) Dragon Ball Super story appears to be just a one month thing until the next ‘arc’ begins (via @geekdom).
This new one-shot is a side story, with more details coming next month. There’s no update yet on the return of monthly chapters, but there are chances for an announcement following the release of the one-shot. Let’s wait and see.
