Attack on Titan Final Movie Ranks 1st With $1.66 Million in 3 Days | Box-office Earnings

Attack on Titan: The Last Attack movie is making big moves in theatres of Japan. Due to the newly added post credit scene fans are tuning in to experience the compilation film in the big screen.

The film opened in 148 theaters across Japan on November 8 and on the first day it grossed 65 Million yeh (appx. $421k). During its opening weekend, the film attracted 175,000 viewers, grossing over ¥249 million (appx. $1.66 Million), as reported by Kogyo Tsushinsha.

To celebrates the box office popularity, the official X account of Attack on Titan posted a new teaser, featuring footage of its original post-credits scene.

The film secured the number one spot in the weekend box office, according to Kogyo Tsushin. The compilation film is scheduled to run in Japanese theaters for a limited time of three weeks from November 8-29. As for the global release dates we will have to wait more.

Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK film is a compilation of the final parts of the series. This re-edited version offers enhanced visuals and a 5.1-channel surround sound mix, bringing the story together in a 145-minute feature film.
