Ever since Naruto Baryon mode showed up in the manga, everybody has wanted to see him animated and they were not disappointed. Boruto has finally revealed the much-awaited Baryon Mode in the episode 217 and it is really something else from any regular form.
Naruto Baryon Mode is taking over Boruto universe but can he beat Goku though?
It’s not that hard to understand who is stronger when you compare their power levels. If you watch both anime, then you will understand how Goku can easily overpower Naruto. They both are stronger in their anime universe, and they are also packed with insane abilities that ain’t easy to counter.

How Strong is Baryon Mode Naruto
According to Kurama, Baryon Mode prompts a process similar to nuclear fusion within Naruto. Naruto’s chakra equally consumed with Kurama’s chakra to make an all-new energy source. This powerful wellspring gives Naruto a clear advantage over Isshiki, and the change in Naruto shocked even the Isshiki.
Everything from speed to strength and reflexes gets enhanced in this state, but Naruto can’t hold it for long. The power emitted by Naruto in this state is lethal most of the time. Kurama clarifies that this form is suicidal, and it seems Baryon Mode turned him into the most powerful ninja to date. So, Baryon mode is more then planetary level for sure.
Abilities:
Baryon mode based on this chemical reaction. It increases speed, reflex, attack power, and defense and power to such extremes that he even surpasses Isshiki’s capabilities. Naruto in this mode can catch Isshiki’s quick attack that even Sasuke failed to see with his Sharingan. Kurama notes that because all connected chakra, contact with an opponent will drain their lifespan as well.
Drawbacks:
Over-usage of this form comes at an even greater risk in Kurama’s life altogether, effectively killing it. Upon reaching the breaking point, Kurama’s will destroyed, depriving Naruto of all the kitsune’s chakra and capacities. However, the removal of Kurama from its jinchuriki will not endanger the latter’s life.
How Strong is Ultra Instinct Goku
Talk about Goku, he is easily Universal even though he doesn’t destroy planets. The strongest form/technique of Goku is ultra instinct (Anime) that God’s can’t master easily. Ultra Instinct is actually a technique that allows the user’s body to respond to outer force without users’ will. Simple saying, It’s nearly impossible to land a hit on Goku when he using Mastered ultra Instinct (anime) on-guard.
Goku is easily more than Universal level with just his Super Saiyan forms.
Goku from Battle of Gods was enough to destroy planets just by the shock waves produced from exchanging punches with Beerus.
Goku’s fight against jiren was so fast, That Gods of destruction couldn’t see them. UIO Goku was able to hold his own against a far more powerful Jiren. MUI Goku speed blitzed a fully powered Jiren. After breaking his limits Jiren goes from being speed blitzed by MUI Goku to being able to keep up with him and matches him blow for blow and even overpowering him at the end.
Who Wins The Fight, Goku or Baryon Mode Naruto?
During the fight, Naruto’s punches can drain Goku’s life but that won’t happen because that where Ultra Instinct plays its role. It’s near impossible to land a hit on Goku when he using Mastered Ultra Instinct.
We have seen Goku and Broly fighting in lava and both came out with no harm. Saiyans know ki manipulation. So if Goku were to punch or come in contact with Naruto, there would be no harm to Goku because he can easily avoid the proper physical contact using.
Now if we look at their feats, Baryon mode naruto only scales with SSJ Goku (from DBS). Baryon mode is planetary but SSJ Goku is universal. MUI Goku has agile reflexes that makes him a formidable opponent. Naruto won’t be able to land a punch on him. Generally that’s what UI is all about. It separates the consciousness from the mind.
Naruto Baryon mode is really strong, but MUI Goku is far stronger, faster and more durable than him, it’s in a different league.
