Demon Slayer Will Appear In Textbooks Of Japanese High School From April

Japan has been the centre of Anime and the craze among fans there is very high, which can be seen by the fact that an anime movie, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is there absolutely dominating the list of Highest Earning movies of all time in Japan. And, looking at this feat, the government of Japan has decided to add Demon Slayer in textbook.

Last year during late march, the decision about introducting anime to national text book was proposed. According to the newly released syllabus, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be there in the Literary National Language textbooks for second-year high school students.

Demon Slayer will appear in high school Japanese language textbooks starting this April! This is the second Shonen Jump work since Dragon Ball to appear in an art textbook. Demon Slayer willl be the first manga to appear in the literature textbook.

Not just Demon Slayer but information about music band YOASOBI and Karuho Shiina‘s manga Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You will also be included in the textbooks.

By including them, the Ministry of Education aims to develop expressiveness and rich imagination.
