Since its launch across all platforms last month, the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero game has been making waves. Just recently, PlayStation announced Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero as the Players’ Choice Award winner for October 2024!
At the end of every month, PlayStation Blog opens a poll where fans can vote for the best new game released that month. After the polls close they tally the votes, and announce the winner.
The game’s success is a testament to the enduring popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero passed 3 million copies sold within 24 hours of launch, and became the biggest Dragon Ball Steam launch ever before it was even officially released.
In a separate report from Japan, Bandai revealed that around 90% of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s total sales came from players in Europe and North America (not surprising considering the huge fanbase of Dragon Ball there).
