Look Back by Chainsaw Man Creator is on Its Way To Win OSCAR!

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Look Back has achieved a new milestone, as the anime film becomes eligible for Oscar nomination this season, following in the footsteps of Hayao Miyazaki.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the films eligible for the Animated Feature Film category at the 2025 Oscars.

Out of the 31 films vying for a spot in the Animated Feature category, several anime and Japanese media productions stand out. That includes Look Back, Imaginary, THE COLORS WITHIN, Ghost Cat Anzu, and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
