Naruto creator wants to start new manga | Mashashi Kishimoto hints at new work

Just a few days ago, the interview with Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and Ikemoto took place. The latest update indicated that the Naruto creator hinted at the possibility of a new manga series.

According to updates, the author mentioned that he currently doesn’t feel the need to focus on the Boruto series. Instead, he’s choosing to spend more time with his family and is considering working on a new manga.

He also hinted that the idea for this new series came from the time he spent with his family, which helped him find fresh inspiration. Kishimoto mentioned: “What is important to me now is spending time with my family, and maybe working on something new.”

Also for those who don’t know, Kishimoto sensei is not directly working on Boruto manga. So, its clear that if he wants he can have the time to bounce back in the manga community.

The 1st question to Kishimoto & Ikemoto was : “As the creator of Naruto, what did you think of switching from Boruto’s supervisor to its scriptwriter?

Masashi Kishimoto (hereafter, Kishimoto): “Concerning Boruto, I have no worries because I wrote the major points of the story draft, which acts as a template up to the end of the story, and I’ve already handed it over to Ikemoto-san. If there are points to modify, we discuss them together and continue on by agreement. So there’s no problem. Above all, Ikemoto-san creates a nemu every month. With ideas, development and characters that surpass my story draft. So even though I check it every month, I hardly have anything to say. Ikemoto-san is someone I trust and who has helped me a long time in the production team for Naruto. So I knew he was amazing in drawing as well as storytelling. I wouldn’t have done Boruto if Ikemoto-san hadn’t agreed to take over.”

Now after hearing this the expectation fans have for Kishimoto’s potential new project is over the roof as he can fully focus on it.
