The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Anime Movie Releasing Date & Trailer out!

Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, an animated movie set to premiere on February 11, 2025.

Originally planned for a late 2024 release, the film will now debut in early 2025, continuing Netflix’s expansion of The Witcher franchise.

The production is a collaboration between Studio Mir, Platige Image, and Hivemind, bringing high-quality animation to this new installment.

Sirens of the Deep is the second animated movie in the franchise, following The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. While the first film focused on Vesemir, Geralt’s mentor, this movie adapts A Little Sacrifice, a short story from Andrzej Sapkowski’s Sword of Destiny collection.

The Witcher is based on the works of Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, consisting of six novels and 15 short stories. The series follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter navigating a morally complex world filled with intrigue and danger.

The franchise has seen multiple adaptations, including live-action series, a movie, a successful video game series, and comic books.

Netflix continues to expand The Witcher universe with projects like Sirens of the Deep, keeping fans engaged with fresh adaptations of Sapkowski’s iconic stories. The animated movie is set to be a significant highlight for the franchise in 2025.
