There were over 15 million global votes across 18 categories and this time it surpasses the 11 million votes cast in 2020. Can you guess the winner of the award ceremony? The horror action series Jujutsu Kaisen is a masterpiece on its own. It’s no surprise that Jujutsu Kaisen got awarded for anime of this year, It has also cemented its name into the larger anime culture. Thanks to some incredible animation, incredibly fast pacing, and also combination of the horror and battle.

If Jujutsu Kaisen can continue moving forward at this pace, it will surely join the ranks of ‘Big three’ after a few more years of steady content.

Winners were announced during a virtual event hosted by Tim Lyu and Crunchyroll’s beloved princess, Crunchyroll-Hime.
