With the Attack on Titan manga coming to an end on April 2021 the creator could’ve taken some rest but he further got involved in the work of anime adaptation. Hajime Isayama revealed in a recent interview that he will only start thinking about his next work after a proper big rest.
Hajime Isayama is currently in the production of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2. He is giving out his best and his feedbacks have gone from being one A4 page long in Final Season Part 1 to two A4 pages long in the part 2.
Recently, a French publication, VF, published an interview with Hajime Isayama. In the interview the creator of Attack on Titan, Hajime Isayama, tells that he will start his new work after a good big proper rest.
Here is the scanned version of the interview with Hajime Isayama, posted by @LKRjaeger.
The scanned version of the interview is in French and below is the translation of that:
“Right now, what I’m dying to do before thinking about my next job is to take a midday stroll through a not-so-quiet neighborhood with a glass of sake in hand. For me, that is what freedom is, ” said Isayama.
Hajime Isayama previously revealed in an interview with News Gamme about his next work. He revealed that he would like to try some dark comedy. Not only that but he would also like to open an onsen (hotspring) for himself.
It’s obvious that a big proper rest is must for these artists. We don’t know their efforts and how many nights they have poured in to pull out great work. Since the manga has finished serialization, the Isayama is involved more in the production.
