One Piece manga returned after a week’s hiatus because of golden week in Japan. In One Piece chapter 1048, the battle between Luffy and Kaido continues as we see a brief flashback. During the battle Luffy uses an attack “Bajrang Gun” which is in reference to Hindu God “Hanuman”.
One Piece chapter 1048 “Twenty Years” is already out few days ago and it shows the battle between Luffy and Kaido. The attack (Bajrang Gun) Luffy used in the fight is in reference to ‘Hanuman’ (Hindu God). Eiichiro Oda himself mentioned below the panel on that particular page i.e. “Bajrang Punch” is in reference to Bajrang Bali (Hanuman), The Hindu Monkey God!

One Piece Chapter 1048 establishes Gear Fifth as one of the most powerful attacks in the entire series. The chapter concludes with a massive battle between Luffy and Kaido, specifically their Haoshoku Haki.

In chapter 1049, Kaido’s childhood flashbacks begins and we see his childhood in Vodka Kingdom. After some years, he met Whitebeard who told him that Rocks wants to meet him.
In the present, part of Raizo’s water leaves the castle and flame clouds disappear. But Momo makes a new one. Luffy says he will create a world where none of his friends would starve, then he hits Kaido and Kaido falls to the ground of the flower capital.
Little later in another flashback, Kaido tells King that Joy Boy will be the man that can defeat him.
