There are way too many anime fans and all loves bragging about their favourite anime because why not!
Every anime watcher has their own opinion, and this creates toxicity.
Dragon Ball fans and Naruto fans don’t go well along because both shows are legend, but fans take it seriously when opposite fanbase say something about their favourite anime.
In same way there are many anime fan bases that are toxic, and in this article I’ll cover the reasons many anime fan bases are toxic.
Anime Fanbase that Are Toxic
I have been in all anime fanbase that I’m going to talk about. They all are awesome, but majority of fans are just toxic.
1) Dragon Ball

“Can He Beat Goku Tho?”
You must have guessed this already, the legendary line “Can he beat Goku tho?”
This is somehow true, Goku is literally in a different league than other anime main characters. “Akira Toriyama” (creator of Dragon Ball) made a character that is not only Earth but universal level!
That is the main reason Goku fans get trigger and toxic when someone says, “my favourite anime character can beat Goku”.
2) Naruto

It’s Not About Naruto Then Okay Fuk Ya I’m Not Listening (Narutotards)
I am a Naruto fanboy, but some of them piss me off. They even argue with other Naruto fans.
While it’s true that they prefer some characters over others, Naruto fans take it to the extreme level by constantly hating on Sakura, Sasuke and Obito, but praising Hinata, Itachi and Kakashi.
They can’t stop hating on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. They even call it a fanfiction, when it is not a fanfiction.
The shipping wars, they constantly argue what ship is better and disrespect each other’s opinions.
3) My Hero Academia

No Cannon Gay Ship Yet! Let’s Threaten The Author
Btw it’s “Boku No Hero Academia” but fandom is “Boku No Pico” (Just kidding but if you know, you know!)
The MHA fanbase consists a large portion of Girl fans. And I’m in a GC where all the girls do non canon Gay ships and it is so irritating.
I hate how people don’t get into My hero Academia because of how toxic the fanbase is. I really love My Hero Academia and hate the fandom.
Get into any My Hero Academia group chat and you will experience it all, believe me.
4) Demon Slayer

Damn What A Great Visual, This Must Be The Best Anime Ever Made
Believe me, Demon Slayer is outstanding anime and over-hyped same time and that is the reason fan base is getting toxic.
You cannot argue with a Demon Slayer fan, they will bite you (just kidding). I mean, you can’t describe an anime with just 26 episodes released yet! (and this trigger Demon Slayer fanbase).
The one reason is also that, Demon Slayer is a new gen anime with many fans that just started watching anime and Demon Slayer is their first or second anime. So, being toxic is natural for them.
5) One Punch Man

He Is Just A Gag Character, He Can Solo Any Verse If He Gets Serious!
One Punch Man fans are somehow similar to Goku’s fan, both think their favourite character can solo any verse (it’s true tho, both are universal).
The OPM fanbase isn’t toxic, I can assure you that. It’s just filled with Dumbass’s who think Saitama one punches everyone.
They worship Saitama and get triggered real quick when someone points a finger to their favourite character.
Conclusion: No anime is best or greater than other! All are great and deserve same respect.
