Everything was going smoothly with the manga circulation of My Dress-up Darling but right after the its anime debut, the franchise reached new heights, competing with the likes of Attack on Titan. The anime adaptation of My Dress-up Darling was so good that the creator ended up crying watching first 2 episodes for straight 13 hours.
Comic Natalie had a interview with the creator of My Dress-up Darling, Shinichi Fukuda. In the interview, the creator opened up about how much time she has spend watching the anime. Shinichi Fukuda (the creator) revealed that upon getting the first two episodes, she had spend 13 hours straight watching it to the point that she even cried by the perfection of anime.
Shinichi Fukuda has never experienced anything like this before and was not ready for this at all. She never expected that her manga will get an anime adaptation in near future and was so happy watching it. There was nothing that made her happy other then watching the anime adaptation of her manga.
I received the first and second episodes of the complete packet of the anime and watched them. Everything was so good that I cried with emotion… I watched it over and over again for a total of 13 hours, so happy and joyful that I have never been happier in my life as a manga artist.”

The author praised the voice acting of Hina Suguta and Ishige Shouya. She was very glad that the two of them voiced the characters. At the end of interview author also thanked the fans for reading the manga.
Everything about the anime, My Dress-Up Darling is so good and season 1 just ended a week ago. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the release of season 2 and many have already started reading manga.
