The creator of some of the popular anime (Ninja Hatori & Doraemon), Fujiko Fujio A (real name: Motoo Abiko) passed away today at the age of 88. The influence & impact he had on the anime and manga industry was huge.
On April 7, a disconsolate news surfaced online which left many artists and fans Mournful. The co creator of Doraemon and creator of Ninja Hatori and Perman, Fujiko Fujio A, passed away at his home in Kawasaki City this morning.
Fujiko Fujio A started his manga production journey in 1951. He was popular for creating hit manga series, including Ninja Hattori, Doraemon, Perman and “The Laughing Salesman,”. He did many great things and recieved many awards like Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award in 2005.
Fujiko Fujio is best known for his collaboration with Fujiko F. Fujio (real name Hiroshi Fujimoto). They both created one of the legendary anime title Doraemon and it became a worldwide hit.
Doraemon is one of the most successful children’s media franchises in the world. It inspired numerous anime films and three separate television anime.
Fujiko Fujio A created many big works which are widely famous among children’s media. His his journey as a manga creator is just as great as his works.
