How To Use Characters Name in Valorant

In many Valorant games we see players that have their selected character name as their username and wonder how did they do it.

Talking about Valorant, it came out in 2020 and got worldwide popular in no time. It is no surprise, because game has everything that gamer need (please remove Toxic random teammates or bulling in rounds).

Toxicity is the only thing that we all hate. I mean, why you have to be toxic when just playing a video game. There is a solution for this toxicity though, Valorant players report other players for being toxic or bullying. Still, we don’t know what ends up happening with those so called “Toxic Players” because we never heard about any ban because of being toxic or bullying team mates.

Anyway, again let’s get back to our topic. So, we were talking about how someone can actually replace his player name with character name that he/she choosing for that match.

Use Valorant Character Name as Player’s name

Hiding actual name and using the character’s name is actually related to privacy. I mean, when you don’t want other players to know who you are, then you use this privacy option and it actually looks cool.

It sounds tricky but changing name is really simple and yet fun, playing character using their name.

Change Valorant Username and Use Character Name

Follow steps that are given below to hide your username and use Valorant character name as your name.

• Open Valorant settings.

• Go to bottom and search for privacy tab.

• After that, you will see three options.
• By enabling top two option, players outside your party won’t be able to see your name (they will see character’s name that you pick for match)

After enabling top two options, only player in your party would be able to see your name (actual Valorant name).
