Seems like this cycle of hatred cannot be stopped just because fans want their favourite anime to be on top. We have seen fans of One Piece and Breaking Bad defending and giving 1 star review to Attack On Titan episodes because AOT fans were also review bombing both series with 1 star.
The war between the two fanbases is a general thing in the anime industry. But things get worse when the heated discussion turns out to be a toxic battlefield between fandoms and same thing is about to happen in the clash between Attack On Titan Vs Full Metal Alchemist on MyAnimeList website.
MyAnimeList is the world’s largest anime and manga database community. This site provides its users with a list-like system to organize and score anime and manga. It has a top anime series list in which Full Metal Alchemist is holding the first spot and Attack On Titan is at second position.
Currently Full Metal Alchemist anime has 9.15 ratings and Attack On Titan has 9.10. Looking at what happened in the past it’s pretty clear that AOT fans would review bomb the series with 10 start and Full Metal Alchemist with 1 star. Not every fan is same, many are having decission about this on Reddit and they are against this review bombing.
At the end of the day ratings are nothing but just stats of the show. Review bombing is not only childish but it makes your fandom looks really toxic and bad. Its ridiculous how obsessed some fans are with their favorite show or artist being at top.
