Did Demon Slayer Anime Season 3 Really Got Canceled?

Demon Slayer Season 2 ended two months ago and the officials have already announced the anime production for season 3. However, it seems like some misinformation are spreading fast in the community regarding Demon Slayer season 3. Some twitter accounts and Demon Slayer fan pages are posting that Demon Slayer season 3 got officially cancelled due to being too violent.

Before saying anything, i would like to tell you to always read comments and do some research before believing anything. The information regarding the cancellation of Demon Slayer season 3 came from an Instagram page (more precisely a Demon slayer fan-page). The post has around 45k likes and 3k+ comments and it was posted on April 1st.

The post gained massive clout, so watching that post, many twitter users also reposted that on April fool day. Most of them have actually removed the post about Demon slayer season 3 officially cancelled. However, it is still up on the Instagram page from where all the misinformation started.

The post says, due to multiple reports of being too violent, Ufotable studio cancelled the production of Demon Slayer season 3. It was actually a good prank to pull up on April Fool day but the user forgot to add that it’s not real.

I had no intention of creating this article because many are already smart enough to understand this. What pushed me to create this article is my friend. We were talking about AOT new part and he told me that Demon Slayer cancelled the release of new season. I thought i missed some info and it turned out that my friend belived in the April fool post.

Demon Slayer will air season 3 there’s no doubt. Just don’t believe anything without proper research.
