The big anime streaming platform, Crunchyroll is making big moves in Indian market. They already have Hindi Dubs of some anime like, My Dress-up Darling & Ranking Of Kings and now they are looking for more.
Hindi Dub and Indian English Weekly episodes are on the way for the following titles, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train arc, Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc, Darling in the FRANXX and Fire Force.
Crunchyroll will also add additional titles with Hindi & Indian English Dub that are on the way over the next three months, include Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Tokyo 24th Ward, Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs and Miss Kuroitsu from Monster Development Department.
For now, Demon Slayer, Fire Force and Darling In The Franxx are available in Crunchyroll in Hindi dub. Every Wednesday at 11:30am.
There is no doubt that in the near future Crunchyroll will have a whole library full of popular anime hindi dubs. Will, it all depends on the quality of dub and how Indian anime fans would support it.
The Hindi Dub of My Dress-up Darling was actually decent with mixed feedback from fans. It’s just that fans support Japanese and many don’t even prefer English dub over Japanese.
