The first ever movie of Jujutsu Kaisen franchise released theatrically on Dec 24 all over Japan. It is been 15 days since the release of the movie and the film has earned 6.7 Billion Yen (Approx. US $58 Million). Not just that, the franchise has also made some new records in the early days of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie premiere.
According to Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie earning reports, the movie earned 2.6 Billion yen (about US$23.5 million) in its first three days, and also topped the box office chart for its opening weekend, making it the second-biggest opening in the box office history. According to Crunchyroll, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is the eighth film to break the 5 million yen mark in under two weeks. “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” is holding the top spot by whooping total of 1.2 billion yen earning on its opening day in 2020.
During the 15 days of the release, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Film Sold 4.9 Million Tickets for 6.7 Billion Yen (around US $58 Million). The audience who visited theaters also received an exclusive “Jujutsu Kaisen #0.5 Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School” booklet.

Synopsis
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie centers around Yuta Otobon. Who is suffering from a serious problem, his childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Gojo Satoru saw potential in Yuta and enrolled him in Jujutsu Tech, so that he can learn about the existence of cursed spirits and become used to his powers.
As a first-year student, Yuta started learning more about curses and how to control them, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?
