DBS: Super Hero Beats JJK O And Demon Slayer: Mugen Train On First Day US Box Office Collection

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has arrived in the big screens of North America and Twitter is getting flooded with viewers reviews & hype. Even though the movie DBS: Super Hero was poorly advertised by Toei, it still made big numbers earning collections on its first opening day in US, beating the records of both Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (JJK 0) and Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.

Not just the first opening day earning but DBS: Super Hero also beats JJK 0 & Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in early screenings of the show on Thursday night. Super Hero estimated $4 million in Thursday night previews in North America!

Whereas, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 grossed US$2.8 million and Demon Slayer: Mugen Train collected US$3.8 million from early screenings.

DBS: Super Hero is casually breaking a 23 years old record as Best Opening day of all time for an anime even though the movie was poorly advertised by Toei.

The movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was screened in 3,000+ theaters on first day with all premium ticket formats, i.e. 4DX, Imax, Dolby and D-box. Early estimates says that the movie will collect around $21M-$26M in the opening weekend.

Dragon Ball Super: Boly movie accumulated around 9 Million USD during its opening day and it was screened on three times less theaters (1,250) than Super Hero. DBS: Super Hero out here making the history by casually topping the chart of best opening day of all time for an anime in US.

Dragon Ball franchise is indeed one of the biggest anime franchise and it has huge potential, all it need is a great animation (we saw how DBS anime is half ruined because of the animation of its early episodes).
