However, according to a Twitter source, the anime adaptation of “Kaiju No. 8” is pretty much confirmed and it will get official release announcement soon.
Kaiju No. 8 has been serialized for free on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ application and website since July 2020. After 2 years of serialization, the series is finally getting a window for anime adaptation. If we go according to the source, Kaiju No. 8 is receiving an anime adaptation and TOHO will be the production.

TOHO behind it means it will go into good hands. Toho is basically an anime producer. They are the one who manage the anime and giving it to their Co-producer studio. It could be Mappa, Madhouse, Cloverworks, Bones, Wit or other studio. In simple words, you can be sure about the great animation of Kaiju No. 8.
