A New Trailer Released For Makoto Shinkai’s New Anime Film “Suzume no Tojimari”

Makoto Shinkai is very popular in the anime community for creating some big hits like “Your Name” back in 2016. Now the creator is back at it again with the new anime film “Suzume no Tojimari” and they have already released a brand new trailer for the movie which looks superlative.

On April 10, the TOHO Movie YouTube channel did a live streaming of teaser video for Makoto Shinkai’s new movie. The teaser looks promising and fans are really excited for another banger from Makato Shinkai after three years.

Release Date Of “Suzume no Tojima” (Suzume’s Door-Locking):

Other than the trailer, the officials have also revealed the release date and new poster for “Suzume no Tojima”. The film will release in Japan on November 11 followed by other countries.

Talking about the animation department, Kenichi Tsuchiya (your name., Garden of Words) is the animation director, CoMix Wave Films and Story Inc. are producing the film and TOHO is distributing the film.

Synopsis:

17-year-old Suzume’s journey begins in a quiet town in Kyushu when she encounters a young man who tells her, “I’m looking for a door.” What Suzume finds is a single weathered door standing upright in the midst of ruins as though it was shielded from whatever catastrophe struck.

Seemingly mesmerized by its power, Suzume reaches for the knob… Doors begin to open one after another all across Japan, unleashing destruction upon any who are near. Suzume must close these portals to prevent further disaster. The stars, the sunset, the morning sky Within that realm, it was as though all time had melted together in the sky. Drawn in by this mysterious door, Suzume’s journey is about to begin.
