The release date for “My Dress-up Darling” anime was revealed month ago. Just recently the official Twitter of My Dress-up Darling anime released a new trailer with release date!
Shinichi Fukuda’s romantic comedy and Slice of life anime, broadcast will start from 24:00 on Saturday, January 8, 2022! A new 15 second promotional video also revealed in official’s twitter account.
“My Dress-up Darling” anime director is Keisuke Shinohara. His work can seen in such films as Arashi no Yoru ni and Piano no Mori. Talking about animation studio, CloverWorks is doing the animation. Cloverworks goated for animation. They only need more concentration on script and pacing issues and they will be the real.
The manga currently has 8 volumes available in Japan. Dress-up darling manga serialized since 2018 in Square Enix’s Young Gangan.
The main character Marin Kitagawa will voiced by Hina Suguta, while the male protagonist Wakana Gojo will voiced by Shoya Ishige.
Synopsis of “My Dress-up Darling”
Fifteen-year-old Wakana dreams of one day becoming a hina-doll artisan. He is serious and devoted to making dolls, but he is not familiar with the trends of his generation and has a hard time fitting in with his classmates. For Wakana, Marin Kitagawa, the popular girl who is always at the center of the class circle, is like a resident of another world. But one day, an unexpected turn of events leads him to share a secret with her. Marin, who has always wanted to cosplay but has never been able to make a costume, asks Wakana to make one for her.
