The great thing about Haikuu is that we can connect with the characters. All characters are so well written that we can’t hate or dislike them for any reason and it feels soo good watching them. Haikyuu is one of the anime in which not a single character deserves hate or gets hate from watchers.

Haikyuu Fun Fact:
Did you know the Haikyuu!! creator, Haruichi Furudate, also played volleyball in middle and high school? Furudate combined his love for the sport with his talent for drawing to create the series Haikyuu!!. In Japanese, Haikyuu translates to volleyball. The character Hinata most closely resembles Furudate’s playing style and also was the first character he developed.
The volleyball matches are so true to life, Furudate has to redraw them if he notices any accidental issues with player rotations. It can take up to four days to draw one spike scene.
