So y’all know about the Shogakukan Manga Award but let me explain for those who dont know. Shogakukan Manga Award is one of Japan’s major manga awards.
It has been awarded annually for serialized manga since 1955 and features candidates from a number of publishers. Also the current award categories are: Jidou (Children), Shounen (Boys), Shoujo (Girls) and Ippan (General).
So, let’s talk about the nomination of this year. Also this year, two works in the children’s category selected. Three in the boys’ category and four in the girls’ category. Also four in the general category were nominated.
Finally the award-winning works will be decided on January 18, 2022 through the final judging committee.
So, Nominated Manga for the 67th Shounen Category:

- “Mashle” by Hajime Koumoto
